Dongqi Group engineer team came to Manila, Philippines to install and maintain single girder overhead crane and double girder overhead crane for our customers from 28th April to 5th May.

Project one:

It’s a machinery training school in Manila. This school not only bought our LH double girder overhead crane but also bought our steel structures. Our sales manager Latty and our engineer came to install frequency converter for our customer this time. The installation went very well and our customer is satisfied with Dongqi team. Our engineer left until the acceptance of government departments.

In the project, the crane rail installation is in a mechanical field between civil engineering and mechanical engineering. In the construction of the installation rails, rail beam and crane track installation is often completed by two professional (such as civil and mechanical installation), the two professional also exist between the out of touch. Therefore, the quality of the crane track installation is difficult to really guarantee.

The installation of the crane track directly affects the running quality of the crane.

 Crane rails

Crane running rails have crane rails, railroad rails and square steel. The top of the rail is convex, the bottom is a flat plate with a certain width, increasing the contact surface with the foundation; the cross section of the track is mostly shaped, with good bending strength. Square steel can be seen as flat-top rail, due to the wheel wear, generally only used for smaller, slower, less frequent work of the crane. The rail is usually made of carbon and manganese with higher steel (C = 015% ~ 018%, Mn = 016% ~ 115%). The typical material for the crane track is U71Mn steel. Square steel is mainly made of Q275 square steel or flat steel.

Crane rail is used for cranes and small cars with special cross-section rails, the standard length of 9,915,10,1015,11,1115,12,1215 and other 8 kinds. Common specifications are QU70, QU80, QU100, QU120, QU The following numbers indicate the track head width. Requirements for concrete track beams

• The track beam must be made to ensure that the position of the bolt holes in the transverse and longitudinal direction of the beam is less than or equal to 5 mm. The diameter of the bolt holes is 2 to 7 mm larger than the bolt diameter, and the top surface of the beam is flat Wiping smooth.
• The installation of rail beam deviation must meet the following requirements, or to adjust the track beam after allowing concrete leveling.
• The center of the beam position on the design of the positioning axis deviation ≤ 5mm.
